 How to Use Elllo (And Why It’s So Cool for Learning English!)

Let’s talk about Elllo—a totally free and super fun website for practicing English. If you're tired of boring grammar books and want something more real and engaging, this is the place for you!

What is Elllo?

Elllo (short for English Listening Lesson Library Online) is a website full of listening activities with real conversations, interviews, and stories from people around the world. It’s made for English learners of all levels, and best of all it’s free!

How Do You Use It?

It’s super easy:

  1. Go to elllo.org.

  2. Browse by topic, level, or type of activity (audio, video, news, etc.).

  3. Pick something that interests you.

  4. Listen, read the transcript, and try the quiz!

You can even download the audio and practice offline. It’s learning at your own pace, with no pressure.

Is It Hard to Use?

Not at all! The site is very simple to navigate, and the content is organized by level, so you can find something that fits you whether you’re a beginner or more advanced.
